2010 Sauvignon Blanc
Fresh and zesty savvy from this very good region for the variety. Beautifully intense aromas of gooseberry and nettle touched with a slight tropical fruitiness. The palate is clean and fine with a lingering finish.
Score: 88/100
Cellar: 2 years
2008 Reserve Shiraz
Opens with a spicy pepper mix overlaying the plummy blueberry notes of this variety. The palate is soft and generous with medium weight. Good structure to support short term cellaring. An appealing wine.
Score: 87/100
Cellar: 5 years
2008 Reserve Merlot
A more complete and stylish wine to the 2007. Notes of light fruit cake and plum on the nose with some beautifully cedary oak infusion. The palate is wonderfully elegant with a fine balance of oak and tannin in support of the concentrated but controlled fruit expression. Shows great promise.
Score: 91/100
Cellar: 5 years
